September webinar: Know it. Treat it.: Taking control of anaphylaxis
September 24 @ 12-1pm EDT

When a severe allergic reaction happens, you need to act promptly. But knowing what to look for — and how to respond — can make all the difference. Join us for an interactive session with Dr. Wade Watson who will use a scenario-based approach to help you build your skills and confidence in identifying and treating anaphylaxis.
We’ll break down the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, clarify when and why to use epinephrine instead of antihistamines like Benadryl®, and give you the tools to act quickly and confidently. You will also be presented with different scenarios to test your knowledge.
Small group webinar next session is September 28th (August session is full!)

Attend a free 90-minute interactive webinar led by a trained parent mentor to get your questions answered while connecting with others. You’ll learn fundamental information about daily management and living confidently with food allergy.
These sessions are geared towards parents of children who have been recently diagnosed with food allergy. It’s also a great session for others who are interested in this topic or would like a refresher. Following the session, you’ll be able to answer:
- What is food allergy
- How to prevent a reaction
