What the session is about: Tune in for a FB Live session on how to use the different auto-injectors in Canada, including EpiPen®, ALLERJECT® and Emerade™, for treating anaphylaxis. You’ll gain a better understanding of the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis, the administration techniques of each device, and how to teach children to use them.

Who is speaking: Dr. Julia Upton, who is on staff at the Hospital for Sick Children in the Immunology and Allergy department; and an Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the University of Toronto. She is the past Section Chair of the Anaphylaxis and Food Allergy Section of the Canadian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Dr. Upton is also a member of our Healthcare Advisory Board.
