Once again this year, the Toronto Blue Jays have designated several home games throughout the season with a seating zone where peanuts and tree nuts are not allowed.
The Rogers Centre™ “Peanut/Nut-Reduced Zone” is designed for people with peanut or nut allergies and their families. (For information on how to buy tickets, scroll down.)
There is also a Facebook page for the Zone with photos, info on meetups and more.
The Toronto Anaphylaxis Education Group (TAEG) has planned a family meetup for the home game on September 11th. To join up, buy your tickets for the Peanut/Nut Reduced Zone from the Blue Jays website for September 11th, then visit TAEG online for meetup details.
Food Allergy Canada would like to thank the Rogers Centre and the Blue Jays for this wonderful program, which makes it possible for more kids and families to enjoy a Toronto tradition. GO JAYS!!
